Salvatore Ferragamo Releases Studio Bag With Digital Project

MILAN — Salvatore Ferragamo is launching today a digital project focused on its new Studio Bag, the brand’s first signature bag style designed by Paul Andrew, creative director of the women’s collections. The bag, which is debuting with the label’s pre-fall 2018 collection, is a graphic, rectangular versatile style embellished with Salvatore Ferragamo’s iconic Gancini metallic closure. Available in four sizes, the Studio Bag celebrates the company’s namesake founder’s first studio, the Hollywood Boot Shop, which opened in Los Angeles in 1923. In keeping with the artistic approach traditionally linked with the brand and its founder, the fashion house tapped Serbian artist Ana Kras to be the protagonist of the #FerragamoStudioBags content series, which will be progressively shared on the Salvatore Ferragamo social media accounts.
